Journey For Justice
Join Elayne Myers as she battled against a government entity established to help our military, but instead persisted in denying her the rightful benefits due to her upon her dear husband's, retired Navy Chief Paul R. Myers death. She wrote this book to supply helpful medical and legal information to families, especially military ones, dealing with the silent enemy known as tinnitus. Her husband's tragic passing was due in part to this enemy. Join Elayne as she battles to right the wrong bestowed on her and her family by a government entity established to protect members of our military, not harm them.
Despite not suffering from tinnitus, Elayne became the founder and leader of the New York Capital Region Tinnitus Support Group in 1999. For ten years, she was a tireless and compassionate crusader for those who felt hopeless against this debilitating condition. She wanted to be there for others in ways she could not be for her husband.
Elayne hopes her book will inspire people to volunteer in any way possible to bring help, love, and hope to those in need. Always remember that in giving, we receive.
